Hey, See Ya Later NY

I've been a New Yorker my whole life — raised in Queens, went to college in Manhattan, living in Brooklyn. Grew up in subway cars, eating breakfast sandwiches from the corner bodega. I know a dollar pizza spot that's just as good as any. My now wife, Kristi, moved here in 2013, from her family house in Jacksonville, FL to an apartment with strangers in Harlem. We met that same year, and not long after, we were married with our own little homey spot in Brooklyn.

When we decided we were leaving New York for a while, we had knots in our stomach. It's tough to leave a place you love, while you're still in love with it. We didn't have much time and it felt like there was no way to say bye that would satisfy us. But we knew we needed to part with this city in the right way because New York had given us both so much over the years.

We gathered some of our favorite works, browsed through our sketchbook for ideas we wanted to bring to fruition, and worked together day and night to build this little capsule collection dedicated to everyone and everything we love here.

The Friend of a Friend NYC Collection is our thank you and farewell to the city that's inspired us every day to always go for it — so here we go.
